Leaf blocks quilted and done!

Our guild is having a “finish your UFOs” challenge this summer. When I won the May leaf pairs block lotto I was motivated to make them into a quilt rather than have them languish in my sewing room. I used Sophie’s flower idea on the top of my stacked leaves and lots of scrappy neutrals for the background. I only needed to make one more leaf pairs for my layout. I have been delighted to open my mailbox this week and find leaves from Nann, Kathy (OH) and Kathie (PA). Thank you so much, ladies, they are beautiful! Scrappy quilts are my favorite and I love looking at the fabrics you each chose. I pulled out my aqua and white fabrics and made four blocks for the lotto this month.
