I have a confession to make. I made a new quilt top. I’m not supposed to as long I’m behind on my 2013 UFO goal, but what the heck? It’s my rule. What happened is this…..Sophie issued the directions for our new Block Lotto for March. The block was simple, it had to incorporate gray and white, and another color of our choice. Here are my nine Tall Fly’s. Another block and color combination I really like! So enter me in nine times! Darn! I didn’t win last month, but I do have 27 blocks completed and I’m going to finish a smallish quilt for me. Actually, it was only going to be about 36×45 but since I’ve decided to set them on the diagonal, it will be a bit larger, and I need a few more blocks. No problem! I like putting blocks together...

I finished my Star-Crossed Blocks. Another block that I really liked.  Although I’ve quilted for years, Block Lotto helps me with continuing education! Because of the need for a medium value, a light value and a dark value I made myself learn how to change my digital camera to black and white AND also how to eliminate the color from my pictures on the computer.
