Four string hearts

Here are four string hearts that I managed to put together over the weekend. I think my 3rd & 4th attempts were the best – I wasn’t happy with the amount of black left around the hearts on the first 2. Either way, they’ve come out okay and I think that a finished quilt will be really dramatic.

    I'm generally not a fan of black or dark backgrounds, but I think it really does work well to pull together a quilt with lots of kinds of scraps in it.

    I've added your blocks to the list. We now have a total-so-far of 90 hearts.
