3 Hearts from Ginny
I made these 3 machine appliqued hearts this morning. These were fun to make, once I got the hang of it! I’d make more like these, but we’re only allowed to make 3 from the same pattern.
Oh well. Maybe I’ll come up with another pattern and make 3 more. It would be great to win the heart blocks! I predict that the winners of the February drawing will be lucky in love for the whole coming year.
By the way, although this photo makes some of my fabric look like it’s yellow it’s actually a pretty soft orange.
Beautiful! I think that some fabrics that are tangerine in real life do photograph/display a little gold.
If you want to do more applique hearts, you could make 4-patch hearts like the one I did (where the background and the fabric for applique start out as 4-patches) or you could put multiple smaller hearts on one block.
