I made 7 blocks this month. Like so many blocks, when I first see it, I don’t feel the love. Then when I see a bunch together, I think WOW, I love the quilt these blocks will make!...

7 leftover and dud blocks for the drawing! Now I need to go press and trim my stripe blocks...

I took my baskets to the post office yesterday. They are on their way to Iowa and Georgia. Make something pretty! Now if I can get pics of my dud blocks and the stripe blocks for this month I will be caught up!

Last summer, I was trying to make sail boats using the stack and whack method. At the same time we were making the tall stars here at lotto. I adored them and when I put them with the sail boats, I thought….cool. So I made 9 more this quilt....

Last winter I made my cousin the full sized version of this quilt. When her grandson was born this fall, I took the left over blocks and added a few to make the mini-me version of it. So these blocks are gone….no dud lotto for them....

Leaves from Jo along with a sweet little Christmas decoration! yes it will go on my tree! Also, a leaf from Charlene that was wrapped in fabric! Thank you! Charlene told me her basket blocks have been duds so far. She thought she could still use them else where. Made me wonder if Sophie ever thought of doing a “dud” block lotto. A place for all the wrong size or fabric blocks to go. Julie

I made more than I intended to make. If they are all okay, I will donate all 8 of them to the pot! Julie...

In a little over a week, a lot of leaves have arrived from… Bonita IL,  Cathy IA,  Julie CA,  Kathleen OR,  Laura GA,  Margaret Australia,  Mary Jane GA, Nann IL,  Peggy NJ and Sophie NM. They are ALL AWESOME and WONDERFUL. Thank you SO SO much. I even have a plan already! Can’t wait to get started! Julie

My blocks were mailed a couple days ago. They should be arriving shortly. Enjoy. Now if I can get some leaves made this weekend! It is on my list of things to do.

  I have 6 boys and girls for the pot of boomers. I will donate all of them too. They kind of grew on me as I made them. But I want someone who REALLY loves them to win...
