I just received the last of the Bullseye blocks in the mail yesterday.  Thanks, Deborah, Robin, Karen A., and Julianne!  I have events taking up my life for the next week and a half, but as soon as they’re over, this is one gorgeous set of blocks I am so looking forward to sewing up!

Five more sets of blocks have arrived in my mailbox, from Elizabeth C., Sharon K., Laura R., Ginny D., and Kathy S.  The more I look at these blocks, the more I fall in love with all the colors and shades you’ve selected.  These are going to make up into a wonderful baby quilt for a certain little-boy-to-be!

I received blocks today from Nann, Barbara P., Kathryn, and Moira.  What lovely fabrics, ladies!  Even my husband was commenting so.  I’m going to have a lot of fun arranging and sewing these up as soon as the others arrive.

Nine blocks from me for the drawing.  Despite being in my favorite colorway, these were difficult… because I realized I had very little of the colors left in my stash!  Clearly I must remedy this color gap the next time I go fabric shopping....

I left England just as the daffodils were giving way to bluebells, and came home to California to find packages of violet blocks strewn all over my dining table. I’ve been sick a good deal of the month and that, combined with the stress/sleeplessness of a house remodel, has had me feeling like I wanted to give up quilting forever.  Fortunately, better health has returned and the worst of the remodel is over.  This morning, while my Wonderful Husband took our toddler son to his tumbling lesson, I finally sat down at the sewing machine and got my sew-jo on! I’ve been so busy quilting the last few weeks that all non-bills mail has been put into a pile to deal with later. But now, Christmas is over, and my father and toddler have both received their quilts.
