I mailed my blocks today. There were only two, so I wrapped them in plastic wrap and put them in a long envelope. I put postal tape in both directions. The post office, first time ever, said it had to go as a package, and charged me $3.50! I was amazed! I guess I’ll use a brown envelope next time! They better get there for that much. LOL

A Snowball’s Chance I didn’t win these blocks. I used a 2014 Block Lotto pattern called Spokes. I called my blocks snowflakes because I made them from snowflake fabric scraps. I included a big giant snowball too. Machine quilted, hand quilted, tied. Label says: “A Snowball’s Chance Despite the odds I believe some snowballs could survive a trip through hell. Today, Tuesday May 8, I mailed my blocks to both Karen in South Africa and Kristin in California. Kristin should receive hers on Friday, and Karen’s will take 2 weeks (6-10 business days) to get to South Africa, and then it’s up to their postal service from there.
