I’d like to thank Barbara, Elizabeth, Marg and Terry for the orphan blocks that arrived during the second half of March. I know that Karen’s from South Africa are on their way, so I think that you’ve all done a great job of sending off your blocks in a timely fashion. One of the charities I sew for each year is Meals on Wheels. They like to include a little something along with the meals in December, and my quilt guild friends and I make placemats. Three Susannahs taken to the post office this morning to start their migration north to Mary. Hopefully will be there in 2-3 weeks, but I see my January blocks took over a month to arrive! From Karen N in Cape Town, South Africa at the bottom end of the African continent.

Susannah Ran Off With the Mailman

The truth is that all three of my Susannah’s ran off with the mailman today. The rumor has it that they’re on their way to Robin and should be there by the weekend. I sent four Susannah Blocks off this morning to Mary from snowy, windy Michigan. Hey, it’s supposed to be spring for goodness sake. Barb Post Grand Haven, MI PS Last week I mailed the orphan blocks to Kathie as I had been traveling the month of March, hope they arrived ok.

I mailed Susannah blocks to both winners (4 each) today. They are coming from springy, snowy, rainy, windy, sunny, windy, snowy, rainy, windy, snowy… you get the idea… Ohio.
