My daughter’s wedding dress.  I snapped a few pictures when she put it on to show  her sister and father.  This is the top for the reception.  For the ceremony she will have a long sleeved half-tee rather than the sleeveless.  Not the greatest pictures either.  There are about 870 3mm Swarovski crystals (clearAB) scattered throught the skirt.  The ribbon sash is silver satin.  I hope no one minds me posting this…I am really pleased...

I have been slowly working on assembly of the 9-patch blocks ( I am making 16 more blocks to make mine 8×8 blocks).  Some of the blocks I received had some off-white, so I used some off-white on the blocks that I’m making to tie it together.  I’m liking this a LOT!  I think that this quilt is telling me that it wants flannel backing and to be yarn-tied instead of quilted and with a loftier batting than I normally use so...

This is how I’ve decided to assemble my block lotto blocks.  I also decided to make 16 more blocks so I can have an 8×8 block layout. I decided against using sashing.  I will do a narrow border in white and bind it in red 🙂...

5 from me, #6 met an untimely death when the ruler slipped as I was squaring the blocks 🙁  ...

this would make 62×82 quilt with the 2” finished...

This is one of the options I’m considering for the layout of my 48 HST blocks – this would make a 68×90 quilt with 2 1/2” sashing and extra border…..  I’d love to see others ideas for layouts!
